Believing in the worth of every individual, we are a nurturing, Christian sanctuary of learning, where all can flourish. We aspire for everyone to achieve heights of success, to deepen courage and to experience breadth of creativity, knowing the joy of God’s love.

Our school vision came out of a wide stakeholder consultation in 2018. Our community felt strongly that we are a school that embraces relationships, is inclusive, accepting, a place of safety, trustworthy, creative and a place where all can flourish.

Our vision is based on the Bible verse Ephesians 3: 17-19 

 ^‘So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.'

Teaching students that they are valued

The school’s vision reflects the fact that we are all loved, have worth and potential.

We explicitly teach the children that they have worth in the eyes of God and no one else is the same as them. We teach them that they each have a purpose that no one else can fulfil, and that they belong to a community. Children understand that they are all different and know that this is a good thing.  Our vision is revisited in every assembly.
