Building Future Leaders JLT 2022-2023

At John Keble School, we have a Junior Leadership Team (JLT). The Key Stage 2 pupils who form our JLT are key to helping shape the direction of our school. They help the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and staff know what is best for the school. 

There are seven different JLT positions. These are:

• Worship Leaders
• Digital Leaders
• Eco and Health Leaders
• Peer Mediators
• Communication, Language and Literacy Leaders
• Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Leaders
• Understanding the World Leaders

This year (September 2022) we received over 100 applications for the positions. Many pupils considered the job descriptions, applied for a role and had an interview. SLT asked class teachers for a reference. The successful candidates were then appointed.

Our JLT have already been busy working with SLT, the governors, their classes and external visitors.
